The V-log is done for now, Kawaii Kon ruled the world, Apostrophe rocked, etc... It has come now where I will be going away for a while to "save the world" but rest assured that I will be back and Sushicrowd will be there once again to give you kick-ass entertainment in Sushipop culture. I'm so excited for next years convention so of course I have another thing to look forward to all year. I may write my rant on my myspace blog or something whenever I have time but stay tuned for that. Of course, episodes of Sephi's V-log will premiere along the weekend and next week up to my season finale since I will be off to save the world. The finale would be a special one since I feel I would get the most personal on that episode. For now, check out Part 1 of Kawaii Kon 2007 in Sephi's V-log: Episode 8." "Oh yeah! Monday, April 30, 2007 It was a celebration. The party rocked and memories were made. Sushicrowd would like to thank everyone involved in Kawaii-Kon (founders, directors, staff, guests, and fans) for making the show an awesome success. We'd also like to thank the directors again for having a couple of us work as staff for the convention and including us in a panel for the event. We appreciate making this show a reality for us fans and we hope to get more involved and hope for an even bigger success next year. Of course, Sephi went on assignment to make a series of V-logs of this event. It's a lot to go through so it may premiere some time the following days, Episodes 8-12 and a final episode after that next week. However, Episode 7: UH Anime Manga Society is available online now.
Monday, April 23, 2007 Aloha Sushicrowd Fans! Kawaii-Kon 2007 is less than a week away. For those that are going, make sure to check out its keynote this Friday at 3PM. Also, Sephi will be wandering around the convention filming for the K^207 mini-series for his V-log. It has been confirmed that Sushicrowd's Sephi Hakubi, Remy Zane, and Sakura will be hosting the Sushicrowd panel at the kon. See Events for more details. Sunday, April 1, 2007 Just because today is April 1st, it does not mean what you're seeing will never be the real thing. Of course Sushicrowd is undergoing a refreshment as we're adding new features for you fans to enjoy. Most of it are still surprises but we'll leave that for you all to find out. Saturday, March 10, 2007 Happy Saturday fans! Update that we've got some new stuff coming on the way. Of course you've heard of Anime on The Run. Another thing we're allowed to say for now is that the show will just be generally insane. Stay tune for more previews later in the days but be prepared as Jaxson Jaguar will return to Anime Round Table to discuss another insane topic. "FLCL". Sunday, February 18, 2007 How have been your February holidays? Hopefully you and your special someone, or ones are ready for Kawaii-Kon because it is soon approaching. We'll be there so we hope to see you there too. Pre-register now at kawaii-kon.org. K^2 is already halfway into its Karaoke competition and Sushicrowd would like to further recognize Remy Zane and Jaxson Jaguar for making it through the preliminary round. We wish them good luck in the contest and hope to see more Sushicrowd artists competing. Finally, a new show is soon coming to Sushicrowd. No anime is safe from criticism when our crew of reviewers do the dirty work for you so you'd know where to spend your hard earned money on. At this point, Sushicrowd is waiting with anticipation with the coming of Kawaii-Kon and it is confirmed that Sephi will have v-log coverage during the convention. In the meantime, he is working on Episode 4 describing a J-Rock photoshoot. Release of the episode will be coming soon; however before seeing the crowd's bishonen taking an appearance to goth, see the goth take the appearance of a bishoujo as the Dream series returns with a second gallery portraying her kawaiiness. Sunday, November 26, 2006 Has everyone had a 1337 Thanksgiving weekend? As it seems that Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year. Some would notice this by hearing Christmas songs on the radio on Halloween. Well we've come bearing gifts for all the fans. A couple of new premieres: Pure Otaku OVS Episode 2, the hi-jinks that go on at Kawaii-Kon and all the colorful cosplayers. Also, Sephi has started vidcasting on his new upcoming show. Sephi's V-log. Monday, September 4, 2006 Aloha! Welcome to the near beginning of Fall. Some news though, Sephi Hakubi will hit the Vegas strip next week on a Sushicrowd promotion tour September 13, spreading the word of the sushipop culture and documenting his adventure. On a couple of heavier notes however, Matt Lalinde (Domark Zero) will be entering the United States Air Force next week so keep him on your prayers as he goes through months of rigorous training so keep this Sushicrowd soldier in your prayers. The Sushicrowd forum is currently under construction as it is being updated with new features, stay tuned as it will be restored soon. Finally, if anyone out there plays FFXI on Quetzalcoatl, Sushicrowd now has a linkshell. More info will be on the new forums but if you may, search for "Sephihakubi" on that server when he's on. Thursday, August 31, 2006 Now that summer is drawing to a close, we can not let good times lay to rest for another year since good times are just getting better and better. First of all, we'd like to thank everyone for their interest and budding fandom for the original video series of "Pure Otaku". More will come in the future so definitely stay tuned. We do have a present for you courtesy of one of the directors of Pure Otaku, Joe Gagin, as he designed a new concept in FPS called Shambles. Right now I'm in the middle of Kawaii Kon 2006 and I am having the time of my life. Meeting the celebrities of anime today, the directors, the voice actors, and many merchants from everywhere providing us with swag. Monday, February 13, 2006 Alrighty, it looks like the site is sittin' at a nice start. The dream began and it'll become a reality. This is word, giving y'all to show a lot of love this Valentine's Day and stand by as the key to your dreams are unlocked. Sunny has been signed and dealing with Jive Records so show her some love on her myspace. As one artist is moving to the mainstream, 2 new sets of artists are moving to the ultrastream. One of them is a band yet deciding on their name but what about them will be a surprise. The other is known as Majestic Stix and there will be light on his shadow soon. As for right now, there will be an Oahu Anime Explorer meeting this Saturday where Sephi Hakubi will talk about Sushicrowd's upcoming webisode project, "Pure Otaku".
