Sephi Hakubi

Sephi Hakubi---The Ace of Aces

(Christian Lalinde)

Description:

Office: Sushicrowd/Sushicrowd.com/CEO
Chief Executive Officer
Local: Ft. Walton Beach, FL

Sephi Hakubi is a multi-talented performer and producer that focuses on bringing alternative and world cultures into the American mainstream and revolutionizing the next generation of entertainment with those factors.  Raised in Coral Springs, FL, Sephi gained many influences from neighboring musical artists in his neighborhood, especially those who are currently in the biz such as Brian Tunks, Sunny Glottmann, and the math-rock force, Apostrophe. Between 2001 and 2004, Sephi was the Administrator of a Japanese interest group in Broward County called Sushicrowd. While in South Florida's Sushicrowd, he has spent time creating industrial-experimental music and has sporadically practiced and worked as a suspenseful DJ mixing dance and J-pop who was known years later as DJ Crescent (DJ CreS-ENT after S-ENT was premiered). He has also produced an open source experimental album known as Open Source by the name "Sephi Hakubi" in 2004.  After transferring his command to those that would soon become Apostrophe, Sephi enlisted in the United States Air Force where fate would have him stationed at Hickam AFB, Hawaii.  After Hawaii's signature anime convention took place in 2005, Kawaii Kon, a cadre of anime fans and independent artists came together along with Sephi to form a community in order to combine the efforts and resources into one channel; that formed the independent media label, Sushicrowd.com.  Since then, Sephi has produced 3 internet series, sponsored 2 fashion models, and mixed at 2 signature events in Hawaii.  Sephi has announced that he will be leaving Hawaii after Kawaii Kon 2008 due to a re-assignment to Northern Florida but will continue to produce more episodes of S-ENT as well as work with the independent music industry and focus on his newfound hobby of cosplay modeling.
